Who I am
I've spent 25+ years as a software engineer — backend systems, API integrations, business applications across a few different industries. That's 25+ years of shipping real, working software, not slide decks.
Atakan Digital is that same experience, aimed at a new target: practical AI for small and growing teams. I didn't arrive here through a bootcamp or a trend — I'm a builder who's been doing this since long before AI was a headline, and this is a continuation of that work, not a pivot chasing a wave.
I'm not a research lab, and I'm not a generic agency promising to do everything. It's one person, real engineering depth, and a genuine interest in good conversations and things that actually get used.
Why I started this
Most AI advice out there is either academic research or built for enterprise budgets and enterprise timelines. Small and growing teams get left with generic tools that don't quite fit how they work, or advice that assumes a data team they don't have. I started Atakan Digital to close that gap — real engineering depth, without the fluff, the jargon or the enterprise price tag.
What I believe
- AI shouldn't only be for big companies with big budgets.
- The point isn't the technology hype — it's better workflows, clearer answers, and real value.
- Every business deserves a thoughtful conversation about what practical AI could mean for them.
My approach
I start by listening. Then I move through Discover, Design and Build — and I stay around afterwards to support and improve what we put in place.
